Rooms clean, double bed rooms have kitchen with stove all pots and pans, plates and silverware. Great place to camp, but with AC and a bed. Beautiful beach, fire pit with wood provided, kayaks available to use. Play structure for the kids and corn hole. I will definitely stay there again when in Tawas.

I was there one other time around September 2024. At that time, we had a few issues with our cabin. I spoke with the maintenance man who was the exact maintenance man that I spoke to this past weekend he told me the exact same story he told me two years ago about how the new owner was gonna start improving the place and making it a whole lot better for guest. I actually found it just about worse shape than it was two years ago. I don’t think the owner invest any money in this place some of the simple things he could do to make the stay a lot better he knows people go there to swim in the lake. He could hang a few clothes hangers between Cottage’s just with a piece of rope so people could hang their towels and bathing suits on nothing. He could go to Home Depot or any building supplies and buy a bulk box of coat hooks to screw to the wall walls so you have someplace to put your clothes in the bedroom in the bathroom absolutely no place to hang your clothes so you have to lay on the bed which is very sad a few hooks on the wall would be great. Also, you could pick up some latches of some sort so people could have a little privacy even using the bathroom. None of the doors have latches. None of the doors closed so you have absolutely no privacy unless you put something heavy up against the door and there should be no excuse for that no latches on none of the doors. This place is close to probably be in condemned if it was anywhere else like I said two years and just looks worse
